We run inclusive community kindness events each month.
And you’re invited!!!
We’re all about spreading kindness, increasing mental health and decreasing social isolation.
We actively facilitate people getting to know each other and everyone is welcome.
So far we have…
- Community Coffee Catchups
- Painted Kindness Rocks at our Kind Cafes and community events
- Packed toiletries bags for survivors of domestic violence
- Speed 1:1 Networked for a Cause
- Chalk Walk n Talked kind messages at local parks
- Given Free Hugs at The Strand (collaborating with Renew Yourself Mindset and Chasing Dreams Photos by V)

Are you a budding poet?
We’re holding a Poetry Competition for World Kindness Week!
And the topic is, you guessed it…
Kindness!
Entry is FREE and open now…
All 3 finalists will have their poems shared on our socials and the Townsville Poetry Facebook page.
Plus they get a chance to read their poem at our Christmas Art Market and Kindness Catalyst Merch Launch 1-4 Sat Nov 16 at Sticks and Grinds Cafe in Deeragun, where the winner will be announced. (don’t worry, we can also read it for you and you don’t have to be there to win 
)
Each finalist will win a cafe voucher kindly donated by Sticks and Grinds Cafe.
Additionally…
- the winner will receive a Pick-me-up Pack from The Kindness Catalyst
- second place will receive a Kindness Activity Pack for Two
- third place will receive a Treat Bundle.

Christmas Art Market & Kindness Catalyst Merch Launch

Local established and emerging artists will be exhibiting their wares and chatting about how they got into art.

Danya’s Designs (local illustrator and digital artist/ teacher), Maggie O Digital Art (digital artist and author/ illustrator), and our two potters Susanne from Happy Clay and Ingrid from Treadles & Trinkets.
It’s World Kindness Week and we’re officially launching The Kindness Catalyst merchandise which raises funds to run community kindness events in Townsville.
Please come along and bring friend to support us and buy a cuppa at our Kind Cafe Sticks and Grinds Cafe (and check out their Pay it Forward Board and Kind Words Box).

RU OK Day Community Coffee Catchup at Missy Moos Coffee
Date & Time: Thursday September 12, 2024 at 10.00am – 12.00pm

Cost: A gold coin contribution is optional but definitely not necessary.
Get out of the house for RU OK day and come for a Community Cuppa.
