We run inclusive community kindness events each month.
And you’re invited!!!
We’re all about spreading kindness, increasing mental health and decreasing social isolation.
We actively facilitate people getting to know each other and everyone is welcome.
So far we have…
- Community Coffee Catchups
- Painted Kindness Rocks at our Kind Cafes and community events
- Packed toiletries bags for survivors of domestic violence
- Speed 1:1 Networked for a Cause
- Chalk Walk n Talked kind messages at local parks
- Given Free Hugs at The Strand (collaborating with Renew Yourself Mindset and Chasing Dreams Photos by V)

October Kindness Kindness Catchup
Date & Time: Tuesday October 8, 2024 at 10.00am – 12.00pm
Location: Missy Moos Coffee (in the blue Centacare building) @ 410 Ross River Rd, Cranbrook QLD 4814, Australia
Cost: Donations will be accepted for Angel Paws pet rescue
This Mental Health Week, enjoy a pick-me-up at our community coffee catchup
- Feel-good Bingo (with prizes)
- Create a Random Act of Kindness Card with a small gift
- Furry cuddles from Angel Paws animals

Christmas Art Market & Kindness Catalyst Merch Launch
Date & Time: Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1.00pm – 4.00pm
Location: Sticks & Grinds Cafe @ Woodlands Village Shopping Centre, 28 Palm Dr, Deeragun QLD 4818
Local established and emerging artists will be exhibiting their wares and chatting about how they got into art.
You’ll meet…
Danya’s Designs (local illustrator and digital artist/ teacher), Maggie O Digital Art (digital artist and author/ illustrator), and our two potters Susanne from Happy Clay and Ingrid from Treadles & Trinkets.
It’s World Kindness Week and we’re officially launching The Kindness Catalyst merchandise which raises funds to run community kindness events in Townsville.
Please come along and bring friend to support us and buy a cuppa at our Kind Cafe Sticks and Grinds Cafe (and check out their Pay it Forward Board and Kind Words Box).

RU OK Day Community Coffee Catchup at Missy Moos Coffee
Date & Time: Thursday September 12, 2024 at 10.00am – 12.00pm
Location: Missy Moos Coffee (in the blue Centacare building) @ 410 Ross River Rd, Cranbrook QLD 4814, Australia
Cost: A gold coin contribution is optional but definitely not necessary.
Get out of the house for RU OK day and come for a Community Cuppa.
We’ll have fun activities to join in. Come on your own or bring a friend and score them a free coffee from the Pay it Forward Board (first 10 friends).
